How accurate is it? Your phone's GPS typically drifts 3–10 metres, so a plot edge is uncertain by a few metres. The app shows the live accuracy (the ± figure) at the top of the screen — trust that number. Donum is not an official cadastral survey and cannot be used for deeds, boundary disputes or legal work.

How do I measure a field? Open Area mode and tap each corner on the map. Area, perimeter and edge lengths appear at the bottom. Drag a corner to adjust it, tap a midpoint handle to add a corner, long-press a corner to delete it.

What is Walk mode? Start it and physically walk the boundary; the app records GPS fixes and closes the shape. It is a PRO feature. In Settings you can set the minimum step and the accuracy threshold, so poor fixes are ignored rather than silently distorting the shape.

The map is blank. Map tiles need an internet connection. Measuring and the area calculation work offline, but new map areas will not load without a connection.

Location permission is refused — can I still use it? Yes. Tap corners on the map instead. Only Walk mode and "go to my location" need the permission.

Which units? m², hectare, dönüm (1000 m²), km², acre, square foot, square yard, square mile — and m, km, ft, yard, mile for lengths. Change them in Settings.

How do I export? Save a plot, open Plots, select it and choose Export: GeoJSON, KML (Google Earth), GPX, CSV, or a PDF report with a map of the plot. CSV and copying coordinates are free; the rest are PRO.

Where is my data? Only on your phone. We run no server and receive nothing. Uninstalling the app deletes everything, so export anything you want to keep first.

Subscription

Donum PRO is a 3-day free trial followed by a weekly charge. Manage or cancel it in Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policy.

If you paid but PRO is not on, open Settings and tap PRO to restore the purchase; make sure you are signed in with the Google account you bought it with.
